Inspired by The Devil tarot card, this hand-drawn lino print explores themes of temptation, shadow work, and self-awareness. Often misunderstood, The Devil isn’t about evil — it’s about reclaiming your power by recognising what’s holding you back.
Each print is hand carved and printed in Melbourne using black ink on recycled, handmade paper from Dodgy Paper. The mystery paper element means the colour and texture are always a surprise — but every piece is beautifully unique.
This is an A5 open edition print (1 of 5 currently available). While more may be printed in future, the handmade paper used for each piece is one-off and cannot be repeated.
I’ve always been captivated by the rich symbolism and timing of tarot. The Devil often shows up when it’s time to face your fears, break cycles, and step back into your truth.
Sustainability note: Created with care in my Melbourne home studio, each print uses hand-carved lino and recycled paper to support slow art and reduce environmental impact.
